Tatiana Florival’s films fuse live-action footage, motion-capture, sculpture, painting, and 3D animations to create immersive, otherworldly universes.
Florival constructs miniature film sets utilizing handmade and digital processes. She assembles footage from clips of live actors (including herself) within these spaces, along with animated 3D characters, paintings, drawings, and more. Drawing inspiration from historical and cultural events, she transforms her observations into narratives that bridge reality and fiction.
