Justin Rui Han is an artist whose work explores the interplay between history, memory, and contemporary systems of control.
Han creates paintings and sculptural assemblages using visual motifs drawn from film stills, archival documents, manuscripts, and direct observation. His work brings together nonhuman beings, objects, and architectural forms, assembling these environments in order to examine the transmission of cultural and technological values.
