Kristen Mills
Kristen Mills is an interdisciplinary visual artist working across video, installation, comedic performance, and teaching.
At the heart of Mills’ practice is an ongoing investigation into the nature of belief and perception, particularly what makes something believable. Whether through installation or performance, Mills creates work that blurs the lines between reality and fiction, inviting audiences to question the mechanisms behind belief. Using humor and absurdity, Mills challenges viewers’ assumptions. In addition to her art practice, she teaches, further exploring constructions of meaning in educational contexts.
