Beverly Acha
Beverly Acha creates abstract paintings, prints, and drawings that capture the sensorial and psychological experience of space using color and repetition.
Often working in series, her paintings build a distinct visual language and logic in response to the environment in which they are made. Acha paints in layers, accumulating fragments from perceptual experience and developing her compositions over time. Referencing architecture, diagrams, and landscape, her core concern is the perceptual slippage within these systems, the spaces between knowing and seeing, experience and memory, and the real and the imagined.
